At #SmartCohort, our mission is to enable an equitable, smart and disaster resilient world through empowering the next generation of public administration servant leaders through strategic programming, trainings, and multilateral diplomacy to localize SDG11 in achieving Cities' transportation and resiliency goals.
#SmartCohort fosters cross ocean dialogue, learning and action with global best practices to advance equitable implementation for SDG11.
#SmartCohort co-creates cutting edge, original programs addressing key governance and finance challenges in achieving equitable SDG 11 implementation through a local context. Previous programs have included 100+ Mayors, Governors, and Heads of Transport, Emergency Management, Planners and Professors.
SDG11 topic areas include: Sustainable Cities Planning, Architecture & Design, Autonomous Vehicles/Robotaxis, Electric Vehicles, High Speed Rail, Ports, Disaster Risk Reduction, Disaster Preparedness, Digital Transformation, Governance, Finance, and Policy Implementation
From Miami to Montreal, San Francisco to Singapore, #SmartCohort has delivered over 150+ original programs and served 250+ leaders directly with over $2B in project impact. International programs have included Singapore, Switzerland, Germany, Canada and China.
Advocacy efforts are focused at the United Nations (UN) level through Youth constituencies YOUNGO and MGCY and Federal advocacy through American Planning Association (APA) and American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).
